In the Spring of 2004, Dennis Rodriguez-Cruz was awarded the Pima Arts Council scholarship. This $2,000 scholarship afforded Dennis the ability to attend Pima Community College. He won this scholarship with his exemplary playing and composition techniques on the steel drum. To forever commemorate his accomplishments a plaque was created to hang on the wall in Jovert’s room on what will be known as the “Wall of Fame.”
